Martin Spaven | Professional Freelance Photographer

I am Martin Spaven, a professional photographer with nearly 50 years experience. Having always had a passion for photography, what started as a hobby turned into a very satisfying career. I started work in 1974, aged 16, with Universal Pictorial Press, a well known and respected stock and press agency. I was employed firstly as a runner, delivering photos to the Picture Desks of all the National and Provincial Newspapers in Fleet Street. I then progressed to printing and processing photographic materials, learning all aspects of this side of photography.
